Common misconceptions

Several misconceptions prevail about Education in China among Pakistani students. These misconceptions are purely based on lack of information about education system and structure of Chinese students. We address them one by one as following;

1- Quality of Chinese Education

Chinese education is world class. China is among the countries with largest budget spending on education. In recent years China has upgraded it educational infrastructure and facilities to develop state of the art technology and research institutes. Many Chinese universities are among world's top hundred universities. It is believed that in coming years China will leave America and Europe behind in the field of research and technology.



2- Only MBBS students from Chinese universities have to take PMDC test

All MBBS students of foreign universities are required to pass PMDC test in order to obtain practice license in Pakistan. There is no exception in this regard, even students from Virginia university which is world's top medical school are required to take PMDC test before getting practicing license. In fact it is common practice where every country takes test to check the expertise of foreign qualified doctors.

3- Halal food

Halal food is widely available in China. Eight Pakistani restaurants are serving the tastes of Pakistani students by offering different dishes around Yangtze university. Similarly many Halal and Pakistani food outlets are operating almost every major city of China.
